Your intensive training starts with an invaluable induction that will give you broad business, technical and product knowledge. Our senior leadership will share their vision for Deutsche Bank with you and bring to life our culture, values and beliefs. Then you’ll receive training in HR-specific practices, such as people management and HR trends. All the while teamwork exercises and a schedule of networking events will help you start building vital business relationships and lasting friendships with future colleagues.
After that, expect to benefit from some of the best technical, professional and soft-skills training around. At the same time, you’ll work alongside, and learn from, our most senior leaders. You’ll have continuous opportunities to develop, both on the job and through structured training. It’s a combination that will equip you to make an early impact on what we do best – generating inventive, effective solutions for our clients.
Based in one of the world’s global financial centres, you’ll have real responsibility and accountability from day one. You’ll rotate between different areas of HR, which could involve spending time in Talent Acquisition, Reward, Employee Relations and Talent and Development.
You’ll spend about three months in each of your rotations and your tasks will vary according to your precise role. You might be giving employee advice, facilitating workforce decisions or even working on large-scale initiatives. But whatever it is you’re doing, you’ll be a key member of the team, sharing your ideas and shouldering real responsibility. As part of your continuous development, you’ll be involved in a global project that you’ll be asked to present back to the senior HR management team. And at all times you’ll enjoy plenty of support from managers and mentors along with unparalleled global exposure.
